Our Fave IG Reels Download Tool for Re-Posting Content

Since the launch of Instagram Reels in 2020, there have been several instances where we’ve wanted to download and re-post an IG Reel shared by another creator. However, unlike TikTok with its “Save Video” feature, Instagram has yet to grant users an easy way to download these Reels to save and re-purpose on their own account.

In the past, when an influencer or customer would share an IG Reel highlighting one of our client’s products or services, for example, we’d have to either ask them to email us a copy or attempt to screen record, while crossing our toes and fingers that we’d be able to crop out the buttons from Instagram’s interface without removing any of the video’s essential visual elements. Not ideal!

Luckily, our friend Taylor of Socially Taylored recently told us about iGram, a tool that allows you to download IG Reels, photos, carousels, videos, and IGTVs! All you need is the direct link to access the content. Read on to see how this Instagram Reels downloader works!

IGRAM TUTORIAL: HOW TO DOWNLOAD AN IG REEL, PHOTO, OR IGTV

Alexa, play “1, 2 Step” by Ciara. Homies, this might just be the most basic tutorial you’ve ever seen. It really is only two steps!

STEP ONE

Head to https://igram.io/ and paste the direct link to your IG Reel, photo, or IGTV in the search bar. Click the blue “Download” button to process.

STEP TWO

Once the page has refreshed and a preview of your IG Reel (or other Instagram content) has populated, click the blue “Download .mp4” button under the Reel preview to save the video to your desktop, tablet, or mobile device. That’s all!

We hope you found this IG Reels downloader as helpful as we did!
